I can believe that. In this case, the Hojack line, which has been abandoned for years, is seeing new life as a walking and biking trail. While it's sad to see the line abandoned, it's good to see the right of way being put back into useful service.

It only took 4 months after our operation shut down before our former company was yanking out the rails to sell for scrap. Seemed a little premature, but I'm not in charge of that. lol

to look at only the top half of this photo is almost to peer upon a winters day, and to look only upon the bottom half it looks desolate light just before the desert, but to capture it in whole, is an entirely different photograph. Very interesting indeed.

Thanks. It was quite the bright blue sky. There was plenty of greenery, but torn-up railways always look desolate. :)
