Friday afternoon Lanse and Jess took us to Mepkin Abbey [link] to see the grounds. I understand they are quite stunning around April with the flowers all in bloom, but it is one of those places where there are no bad times to visit. It reminded me that I have not spent nearly enough time recently at the much closer Abbey of the Genesee.
