2013-036 The view from the dockby =pearwood

I drive by the spot twice a day, but Sunday afternoon I stopped by the scene of the Webster, NY fire where two firefighters were gunned down last December.

This is taken from a dock jutting out into Irondequoit Bay. Across the road from the fire scene and past the slight rise and breakwater is Lake Ontario.

It looks so calm and peaceful from here.

I kike the sheen on the ice here combine with the snow it almost looks like movement.

It's amazing that just a few short months later peace can look like that.....
Even though I'm sure that it was cold as anything that day... the whole scene just looks like it was ice cold... I think you really capture a lot with your shots......
