2013-339 Posts and lights by pearwood 2013-339 Posts and lights by pearwood
Outside the Rochester, NY Amtrak station.

Badly underexposed (I had the light meter set wrong) but it still came out reasonably well.

Its always something about your photographs that stand out for me... They always stand out in my honest opinion and... I'm impressed...

The way this photograph captures the essence of its subject matter - the monochrome lighting, the grains on the photograph, the brightness and contrast provided, the ambience of an unknown which will inevitably happen... Its amazingly done honestly.

I'm in awe when I see this photograph - it stood out for me simply because it represents the road oft taken... the road which all of us have to inevitably take:

One in which we become independent, but realize we're alone.

Love the rivets...

The haziness gives it a more dream like quality, like I'm stepping back in time.  Almost expect some Pevensie children to walk up....

Thanks.  After I took these two I saw that the light meter had gotten bumped over to 800 instead of 400...
