I didn't realize how long the film had been sitting in the Argus.  

The scan was a not entirely successful experiment.  35mm film curls so much that it's hard to get it flat for scanning.  The plastic negative holder for the V500 doesn't do it, so I tried placing the film in the sleeve page directly on the scanner with a piece of glass over it.  That sort of worked but left me with a lot of visual noise from the plastic.  I'll try the rest of the roll without trying to rely on the sleeve page to keep it aligned.
