2015-024 Amber

Amber, the color of good beer, like the Saranac Adirondack Lager I had this afternoon, the color of captured sunshine, like the sun on the barley fields that provided the malt for the beer.

Amber is the color of light and life, a warm afternoon with the late sun filtering through the leaves.

As I was out walking this evening the light outside was the blue-white of the streetlamps. But the light from inside the houses glowed amber, a homey color, inviting me in.
