Big windows on a single side make for beautiful light. Some of my best portraits caught in places like these.
You do a fine job of mastering the highlights.
The blow out of the windows reduce contrast and bathes the scene in the strong head on light. Technically this is normally not something you would want, but the perfect composition of the scene and the high square format which embraces the flood of light uses this element to it's advantage. Well done!
Thanks, Mark. I metered for the foreground. When I scanned the negative I set the scanner curves likewise.
