2016-353 M'Lady by wheelipod by pearwood 2016-353 M'Lady by wheelipod by pearwood
I'm back in action, mostly sort of.

My lovely lady ctryon50 photographed with the #wheelipod on my #FreedomMachine.

I have shot only a single roll of film since my hip went south the middle of November. This was the last frame on the roll, celebrating the successful contriving of a #wheelipod.

The three prints on the left are by the most wonderful keight, a house-warming gift as I remember. Hard to think we've been here almost four and a half years.

Yashica-D TLR
Ilford HP5 Plus
Epson V500 scanner

love this. :) Wow, she is beautiful! And it looks like she is doing one of her favorite things to do (or, at least, that's the look that I think a person SHOULD have on their face whilst enjoying a hobby or pastime).

All captured with a classic film camera, no less. Life could be a lot worse.

A blessed Christmas to you and yours.

OK this may sound like a dummy question, but I see you use Ilford HP5 Plus film.  Do you develope it yourself?  After the film is
developed does it go right on the scanner as a negative?  I ask because I've only ever worked with film in a darkroom with and
enlarger and paper.

A quite sensible question. I develop the film myself then scan the negatives with an Epson V500 scanner and work them up in the Gimp. I have a full darkroom now but don't get to use it a lot. I'm very much a neophyte with wet printing.

A lovely shot of a lovely lady. #wheeliepod and #FreedomMachine have worked very well to capture your vision, and hopefully will not hold it back either.

I very much like how this is a capture of a slice-of-life moment. Just nice and relaxed. And the balance of darkness and light is perfect.
