365, thanks to UglyBug

The lovely Ms Ella Ruth,~uglybug, encouraged me to do a 365 project for 2012.  Do go check out here gallery, by the way.

My criterion will be photos within walking distance of current (or planned) residence.  So I'll start here at 285 Shaftsbury Road, go someplace else for a month or so, and end up at 143 Park Road [link]

I expect I'll be shooting mostly digital until we get settled in.  We will be traveling very light until then since we don't relish unpacking and repacking any more than necessary.  I'll have to give you some warehouse shots in the meantime.  Boxes, oh, do we have boxes.  :)

Feel free to use any of my waterscape or landscape photographs as stock images. I ask only that you let me know, and that you post a link to the original.

The Heidelberg Catechism, published in 1563, remains one of the warmest expressions of the Christian faith ever written. This is how it begins.
What is your only comfort in life and in death?

That I am not my own,
but belong --
     body and soul,
in life and in death --
to my faithful Savior Jesus Christ.

He has fully paid for all my sins with his precious blood,
and has set me free from the tyranny of the devil.
He also watches over me in such a way
that not a hair can fall from my head
          without the will of my Father in heaven;
in fact, all things must work together for my salvation.

Because I belong to him,
Christ, by his Holy Spirit,
assures me of eternal life
and makes me wholeheartedly will and ready
from now on to live for him.

You might try it, too, as a way of exercising your camera.

True that it hasn't gotten much of that lately.

I shall do my best. A iPhone picture, at the very least.

What is going on with the differences between the "approximate address" at the top of the photo, that shows up when you click on the photo next to the map, and the address in the box that shows up when the large photo opens? I'm confused.

The little picture on the left is the street view, which tends to be quite approximate. It hit pretty close this time, as 143 Park is the house on the left. The larger house on the right is where the neighbors I met last week live.

The "A" marker in the main map view is dead on the money.
