keight and DuncanJBerry say it's time for another gang of ten or, in this case, fifteen. Since the first two slots are spoken for, that leaves a lucky thirteen for the rest.
This isn't just for us "established" photographers and painters. So, come on, you new watchers, jump on in.
The first thirteen folks who comment on this journal get to be part of pearwood's lucky thirteen. I will go through your gallery and pick three of my favorite deviations for display here. You can post the same offer in your journal, though that's not required. (It's a happily benign Ponzi scheme.) The html for this page is here. Previous gangs are here.

The Heidelberg Catechism, published in 1563, remains one of the warmest expressions of the Christian faith ever written. This is how it begins.
What is your only comfort in life and in death?
That I am not my own,
but belong --
body and soul,
in life and in death --
to my faithful Savior Jesus Christ.
He has fully paid for all my sins with his precious blood,
and has set me free from the tyranny of the devil.
He also watches over me in such a way
that not a hair can fall from my head
without the will of my Father in heaven;
in fact, all things must work together for my salvation.
Because I belong to him,
Christ, by his Holy Spirit,
assures me of eternal life
and makes me wholeheartedly will and ready
from now on to live for him.
