Exercises in composition: Take a photograph and crop it exactly square.
This is especially for you folks who do your serious photography in rectangles. I pack a square-shooter these days, but even when I was shooting rectangles I did a lot of square crops.
Here are some examples to get you started, all of them taken as rectangles then cropped.
- You are free to interpret this prompt as needed.
- All photos must be new, and specifically taken for this challenge.
- Leave a comment in this journal with a link to your photograph.
- The deadline is Friday, July 31 at 11:59 PM PST.
- One winner will be selected, and will receive 100 within the first two weeks of the following month.
