I decided it was time to exhibit some of my work the Holga.
I also decided a poem was called for.
- Ode to the Holga
The Holga and I, we go out;
and travel the everyday route.
We photograph trees
and sunshine and seas.
That's what this show is about.
On some days we shoot black and white,
or with color we do it up right.
The Holga says, Hee!
Makes no difference to me.
I can torture whichever's in sight.
The cheap plastic lens bends the focus;
the shutter performs hocus pocus.
Yes, it's magic, you see,
the Holga and me.
Come join us; be part of the ruckus.
(Holgas are to photography as limericks are to poetry and puns are to humor.)

That I am not my own,
but belong --
body and soul,
in life and in death --
to my faithful Savior Jesus Christ.
He has fully paid for all my sins with his precious blood,

that not a hair can fall from my head
without the will of my Father in heaven;
in fact, all things must work together for my salvation.

Could lead to an interesting thread in the distinction between pictures and photographs - it would seem that some believe that they can make photographs without going through the picture state, by means of a Holga?
