Out for a walk

Wed Feb 1, 2012, 8:12 PM
I managed to sling the Yashica-D on my back and get outside for a real walk this afternoon, instead of walking laps around the inside building perimeter.   It wasn't terribly cold, but there was a stiff wind.  Once I took out the hearing aids and put on a decent hat, I felt much more like shooting.

I developed the roll when I got home, went to choir, and scanned in a couple negatives.  First, though, I had to track down a USB scanner cable.  Seems I didn't get this one hooked up in the great apple cart upset last month.

Since it's rare for me to shot, develop, scan, and post all in one day, I'm going to have to stretch the rules on the 366 series if I want to post any film shots.

G'night, all.

Steve

Feel free to use any of my waterscape or landscape photographs as stock images. I ask only that you let me know, and that you post a link to the original.

The Heidelberg Catechism, published in 1563, remains one of the warmest expressions of the Christian faith ever written. This is how it begins.
What is your only comfort in life and in death?

That I am not my own,
but belong --
     body and soul,
in life and in death --
to my faithful Savior Jesus Christ.

He has fully paid for all my sins with his precious blood,
and has set me free from the tyranny of the devil.
He also watches over me in such a way
that not a hair can fall from my head
          without the will of my Father in heaven;
in fact, all things must work together for my salvation.

Because I belong to him,
Christ, by his Holy Spirit,
assures me of eternal life
and makes me wholeheartedly will and ready
from now on to live for him.

I print some at home on my Epson CX7800. Mostly I use dA. I've been happy enough with their quality, especially the art prints on heavy Epson paper. For squares I generally get 10x10 lustre photo prints.
